Fireworks from CS6... How do I download/buy?

I am trying to purchase and old application Fireworks because I find it way easier to use than Photoshop. I have been able to download a free trial but this has now expired and when I try to buy it it just takes me to an error page. How can I download this program? Happy to pay but I can't seem to find it anywhere! Thank you!


Download of full CC applications for offline installation - Online activation once complete

Need to pre download full applications for CC subscription to install on replacement desktop in a very slow internet connection area. Is there a set of links to the full installation files for all the CC suite that then just require activation on new PC? It would take about 10 full days to download via current install pull method otherwise and I have access to high speed internet at alternate location. Giving this is on a Dell T5600 workstation it is not exactly portable.

Hi there,

 

I recently got a new computer and now trying to install Premiere Pro CC.

 

I've just bought PP CC but when I try to download from the Adobe site I get this message:

 

"This computer does not meet the minimum system requirements for Premiere Pro. Please refer to the system requirements in the Help documentation for a full list of hardware and software requirements for Premiere Pro."

 

I'm running this computer:

 

Processor  2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

 

Memory  16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

 

Graphics  Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

 

Serial Number  C02NC7VEG3QD

 

Software  OS X 10.9.5 (13F34)

 

Has run previous versions of Premiere. Not sure why I'm not allowed / can't download.

 

I'm having to edit from home and have a deadline tomorrow, so any help is appreciated!

LR Classic update installation crash

The latest LR Classic update installation crashed with an error msg 146.

The instructions are to rename the file " CRWindowsclassicserver.exe".

When I attempt to do this, I get the message "file open in another application, close...etc."

This still happens after a cold boot.

So,  obviously some kind of flag is set that this file ( and actually the entire AdobeLightroomClassicCC folder") is "open" even though no apps are running.

The entire folder remains on disk, even after I do a complete uninstall of Lightroom Classic.

 

So, how do I get rid of these old folders so I can reinstall Lightroom.

The reinstall attempts crash with the same error message.

 

Will logging in as Administrator allow me to delete a file/folder that is supposedly "open"?

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

New Lightroom CC won't open

I've tried logging out and back in, reinstalling, restarting, even compatibility mode. My computer is up to date. Whenever I try and open Lightroom CC the little loading circle appears by the mouse for a sec then disappears and it doesn't open.

To be clear this is the new 'Project Nimbus' Lightroom. Not Lightroom Classic.

When I first downloaded it, it worked once and then I closed it and it never worked again even after reinstall, etc.

Lightroom classic CC update - "error 146"

I loaded new version of lightroom two weeks ago. And Creative cloud announced update two days ago about this new version of lightroom classic. But installation is unsuccessfull. I tried many of processes explained in your different suggestions, no one is working. Did you have any suggestion. See error message:

So that update is failing. I can't see the specified folder to change permission since it is canceled. It is the first time I've this kind of trouble since I'm using creative cloud.

 

I worked with classic two weeks, I'm now not able to open any job done with new version by using lightroom cc 2015.

Lighttoom Classic cc fails update

The update to Lightroom CC classics fails to load giving the following message whether I attempt to update from the adobe cc icon or to reload it from my adobe account.

 

As a result of the failure I no longer have access lightroom

 

I have tried to relax my adobe folder permissions but cannot change the permissions og the file in the error message

Limited data via satellite and using Photoshop without the cloud whilst on monthly pay plan

Hi there, has anyone got some suggestions for this frustrated novice.  I was just getting into some cool layering art from photos I've taken to find out the next day that I've chewed through all my data which is super expensive through farmside satellite here in NZ.  Now my apps all want to update and it appears  I can't even get into Photoshop until I do this.  Can I bypass the cloud stuff and just have access to PShop I just want to create here at home, don't need access to it anywhere else at this stage.

Doing 'Clean' install of Windows 10 - don't want to lose PE 12...

Hi everyone,

I am doing some upgrading of my pc, which is currently running w10 and has pe 11 or 12 on it; I am going to do a 'clean' install of w10, which will effectively wipe my hard  drive clean - am wondering what steps I need to take to ensure that once I have clean install of w10 up and running I can re-install or re-activate pe 11...?

Also, I purchased this pc used on Craigslist with this program already installed - I have no serial #'s or anything else, nor the box the program came in - no documentation of it, just have it on the used pc I bought, and don't wanna lose it.

 

Can anyone recommend steps I should take before and after doing the clean install so I can retain this program and reactivate once clean install is complete?

Adobe photoshop trial not installing

Here are the steps that I take when encountering the error:

 

1.) Run web browser (firefox and chrome)

 

2.) Go to adobe site and try to install the free install for photoshop cc

 

3.) For chrome there will be a notification asking me to open CreativeCloud (URI Handler) and for firefox the photoshop_set_up will be downloaded on the downloads page.

 

4.) trying to click on any of those files gives me an error message:

I've already tried reinstalling several times, closing my browser and trying again, opening up on private mode and trying again, and trying it on different browsers. But I still get the same error message when I try to install the photoshop trial. I've installed the lightroom desktop trial app before, and it was working fine.  Please help.

What the hell is going on with my once favorite software? Do you have UI Designers that hate adobe users and just want to make our lives a HELL! Well, they are succeeding. What a piece of crap!

Want to switch languages? TAKES A REINSTALL! What year is this? In 1995 I could switch languages while keeping the program running!  I can't copy/paste paths in the save dialog Menu's are hidden behind invisible buttons.You are forcing me to do my stuff YOUR way? Get lost, i pay you! I decide how I want to work.  GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER IN THE NEXT RELEASE!

So that's the truth. Creative Cloud does not work on High Sierra.

 

What a waste of time and money $$$ to come to this conclusion.

 

Apple said it's not their problem. Adobe says oh well. Must be a non case sensitive drive.

 

The users get screwed again! Hope this info. saves users some time, it cost us plenty.

Issue

When you try to install an Adobe product, you receive the message, "Case-sensitive drives not supported" in the Install Options panel. Or, you receive an error message such as the following:

  • File system of setup volume not supported.
  • This software cannot be installed because the file system of the OS volume is not supported.
  • Unsupported OS version.
  • Unsupported file system on system disk.

 

Solution

 

Install the product onto an HFS+ or HFSJ non-case-sensitive drive.

How to save actions & workspaces during uninstall/reinstall?

I have a new-to-me Mac and since I used Migration assistant and TimeMachine to transfer data from old drive to new, Photoshop cannot handle my usual large-scale workflow (open 20-50 images with CameraRaw, delete the losers, set lighting/contrast, open keepers in Photoshop, then do minimal tweaks and batch action sharpening and resizing for display/web/etc).   I think it's time to suck it up and do an uninstall/reinstall, but I don't want to lose my custom actions & workspace defaults.  I need a pointer to current way to export/save and import/reinstall these, please.  Thanks!

No Creative Cloud installers support APFS

Hello! Multiple places around the forum I have seen staff members say that APFS is supported, however I get the error code 22 if I attempt to use ANY installer (No support for case sensitive volumes).

 

I recently had to reinstall my operating system and APFS is the default when you format now.

 

Adobe Creative Cloud is 100% uninstallable on EVERY APFS Mac.

So I have premiere pro cc 2017... expired today (found out when it crashed as I was saving a project I spent about 4 hours on, I'm praying the 'we will try to save your project' works when I can finally open the software), so I get a new 1 year subscription. Wait 20 mins etc, update premiere pro cc 2017 and media encoder cc 2017... media encoder opens and runs fine.

 

However, when I try to open premiere pro cc 2017, it tells me to sign in, then goes to the 'continue to enjoy your software', and when I hit 'continue', it brings up the sign in box, and just repeats the whole process over and over.

 

I've signed out, closed everything in the tray, and went and pulled some teeth with a person on live chat who I assume was watching tv at the same time... anyone have any idea what the issue is?
