Is it possible to install the Adobe XD app on a mac without the Creative Cloud crap? Creative Cloud is running a lot of processes and slowing down my mac. It's always whining about not being able to install updates. I have to click on update button several times to start updating XD. I think this whole Creative Cloud software is completely unnecessary for me.
I am getting the p22 error code on my macbook and I have created a partitioned part of my drive that is not case sensitive but cant figure out how to install it onto there.
Hello all,
Since Friday, I have been receiving this annoying message on my computer.
I have put lots of effort in to fixing it but to no avail. Clicking "Repair" seems to solve the problem until the next time I reboot my PC at which point this comes back again. Additionally, doing a full uninstall and reinstall does not seem to fix it either, as rebooting causes this to pop up once again. The uninstall methods that I used include using the traditional method via the "Programs & Features" page on Windows as well as using Adobe's Creative Cloud uninstaller tool and neither have resolved this. Has anyone else been seeing this? And has anyone figured out a solution?
Hello, I can't install adobe pro DC in my mac. It never starts dowloading (staying in 0%...) . Then, the error P207 appears. Can anybody help me?
Adobe is updating my Creative Cloud applications on a regular basis. However,, doing so, the old versions of the applications remain on my hard disk, consuming large amount of disk space. While trying to uninstall the programs using the Windows 10 uninstaller, I seem to fail to empty the space used by these programs. Could some please help with an advice to that problem?
All links I found are obsolete -- in my Creative Cloud I can only see 2015 apps and some 2014, but NOT InDesign CC 2014, the app i need.
Thank you!
Hellos,
I am having trouble updating Adobe XD to the newest version and it says the update failed when checked.
I am using Windows 10 and use Avast as my antivirus,
I've tried downloading with the antivirus disabled but still the same error.
This is the error message I received ;

After about 6 hours of troubleshooting and going through all the steps to try to get the stupid Adobe Creative Cloud installer to work, I'm still getting the message saying that a problem occurred and it needs to be repaired.
Adobe Creative Cloud, needed to resolve this problem, is missing or damaged
Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing or damaged
Must Constantly Reinstall/Repair Creative Cloud
Finally, I just did a complete fresh install of Windows 10, thinking that might solve the problem. That did not do anything. This problems been going on for other people for at least three years. Get your act together Adobe! Why should I bother purchasing your products if I can't even install them. This is only the stupid installer to get to install the actual products, mind you. What is the fix for this? It's been three years! You should have a solution by now!
"Adobe Creative Cloud, needed to resolve the problem, is missing or damaged. You can try to repair to fix the issue. If the problem persists, download and install the new copy from http://www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp"
I've redownloaded this stupid app at least 20 times now; it's near impossible to suggest that all 20 downloads are somehow corrupted.
Hi
I have only been using Adobe software for 30 years, but I am stumped on this one.
I am trying to install only the Creative Cloud app on Windows, which I run through Parallels on my iMac. I am getting a message saying the installer can't be run from a network drive, and sure enough, when I look in the Windows File Explorer, the location is > Network > Mac > Home > Downloads.
This is not an office network. It's something that Parallels is doing on a single computer. Office 365 installed without a hitch.
Hardware: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)
OSX: High Sierra 10.13.6
Windows 10.1809
Parallels 14.0.1-45154
I need to be able to either:

When installing the Creative Cloud application on a MacBook Pro, it installs itself for all user on the system. As such, it's corresponding services run under all user accounts. How can I limit the installed software so that it only functions within the user account from which it was installed?
I do not want any services or software related to Creative Cloud running while specific user accounts on the MacBook are being used.
Please advise.
Thanks.
I have the type of firewall (windows 7) that wants to unblock by .exe, I followed all your tips and unblocked the
PDapp.exe and I also made sure of the certificate. It's got all the .exe files in the program folder
creativecloud.exe, creativecloud desktop app etc.
and it still won't connect. If I set my firewall rule to default allowing everything it does connect so I know it's the firewall. Is there another .exe someplace else I may have missed?
For creative cloud I need a list of executables to allow through the firewall, please.
I was trying to install creative cloud again because I haven't used it in a while since the last time it messed up my computer and I scanned the file with virustotal and I seen it had a trojan and I researched the trojan and seen it was very very harmful to your computer. I was wondering why is there a trojan?
hi all,
I wondered if there is any body running windows professional 64 bit who has managed to install and use cc 2017?
I have been unable to install any of the applications. The error message says your windows needs updating.
I have all the latest updates for win 7 professional 64 bit. I've had microsoft support engineers doing a remote logins on my machines to check they are up to date and they have no idea why the Adobe installer thinks my windows needs updating.
I have tried on both my machines and the same problem.
Somebody I work with is also running the same operating system and version and they also have the same issue. unable to install any of the 2017 apps.
Adobe say it is compatible with windows 7 service pack 1. So for in our experience 3 out of 3 machines have found it incompatible
I have been prompted to run a down load in order to update my Lightroom. On each occasion however the following error message appears "The download appears corrupted. Please try to download again (U43M1D205)" Repeating the process delivers the same error message. Please help.
I downloaded the adobe illustrator free trial, but when it finishes downloading on my MacBook (OS Mojave), it just disappears. The file just disappears and there is no application to click into. I've tried so many times to fix this. i've re-downladed the file five times and it never works. It just downloads and when I click on the file, it attached itself and them just disappears. I would be so grateful if anybody can help me with this.

mine won't even let me downloads the creative cloud
Hello, for 2 days I've tried to fix the problem with solutions from Adobe. Nothing worked out, or maybe I don't know how to do it since I'm not an IT person - I don't know anymore, these problems with updates make me sick. I don't have an antivirus.
