Error 160

Hi, I would first like to say, that yes, I have done some research on this issue, and have found no solutions. Here is the error:

1. I have tried setting the permissions to pretty much everything:

  • Set owner to logged in user
  • Set owner to Administrators
  • Allowed Full Control to every user and software package

2. Deleting the key

3. Restarting the machine

4. Using the Cleaner Tool

5. Making the key and setting the value myself.

 

In solution 5, it got interesting. I deleting the key ({3A853ADC-E868-44D6-8B24-AE98E810890A}) and remaking it with the same name, and even after setting all the permissions, I couldn't set the value of the "(Default)" value. Then I tried making another key with a random name, and it worked fine. It seems that whenever I make a key in the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface" area with the name "{3A853ADC-E868-44D6-8B24-AE98E810890A}", I am somehow completely locked out from editing it.

cc 2017 will not install on win 7 professional 64 bit sp1

hi all,

I wondered if there is any body running windows professional 64 bit who has managed to install and use cc 2017?

I have been unable to install any of the applications. The error message says your windows needs updating.

I have all the latest updates for win 7 professional 64 bit. I've had microsoft support engineers doing a remote logins on my machines to check they are up to date and they have no idea why the Adobe installer thinks my windows needs updating.

I have tried on both my machines and the same problem.

Somebody I work with is also running the same operating system and version and they also have the same issue. unable to install any of the 2017 apps.

 

Adobe say it is compatible with windows 7 service pack 1. So for in our experience 3 out of 3 machines have found it incompatible

This happens, even after I have tried it with a new admin user. HELP ME, PLEASE!

Same issue here with Windows 7.

I waited a couple of months hoping that there will be a fix down the road with the latest version.

 

I miss the old days when everything was working fine with Adobe products. When It's not reinstalling Adobe Acrobat, it's reinstalling Creating Cloud.

Not sure but it seems that I am paying monthly subscriptions for software that are released too fast or for the wrong reasons.

 

I'm frustrated. What a waist of time.

My LR won’t update past 2015.3 (CC) and no surprise Mobile Sync does not work citing an upgrade is necessary and error 4999. I have uninstalled LR, Creative Cloud, etc reinstalled with same errors. Please help adobe as I can’t use Mobile

I click install, it' loads 0-99% in less than a minute, I get a notification it's installed, then it goes back under programs not installed.

Photoshop install goes from 0% to 99% in seconds and then says it's installed, then shows in the panel that it is available to install. It does not install from creative cloud app.

I don´t know what to do anymore. I already removed the registry files and deinstalled everything from Adobe.

 

Does anyone know how to fix it? I´m really frustrated right now.

Can't open CC app

I have downloaded Premiere Pro CS6 via creative cloud and the app is sitting under the "previous versions" section. There is no option to open it. I have searched my hardrive to find the .exe file but I can't find it.

 

I can't figure out how to launch it!

 

Photoshop, Acrobat and other apps have an "open" button and launch with no issues.

 

What am I missing?

I have Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard student and teacher edition but I had to get a new hard drive for my Mac and when this was installed all my software (inc Adobe) was removed. How do I reinstall this on my Mac? It is the same Mac and I still have the CD with the software on it I also have the product code.

Multiple Issues Since updating to CC 2017 In Premiere and AE

I've hobbled along using inconvenient fixes to keep working on edits but I really need to get everything back to good working condition.

 

I'll start with After Effects.  Only really big issue I am having is that I can't launch AE from the apps section of the CC App Launcher.  I have to search for AE in my Windows 10 program search to find it and launch from there. 

 

In a related (I think) issue, I can't use dynamic link between Premiere Pro and After Effects.  I can select a clip in Premiere that I want to replace with an AE Comp but I get this error message: "Adobe After Effects must be installed to import this file."  A quick fix for this is to open after effects, again not through the app launcher, and while both premiere pro and AE are running, I can select a clip and replace with AE Comp.  It will successfully open a new comp window in whatever project I have open in AE and from there I can edit and render to a file I can then put back in Premiere.  I can't work with the clip that I replaced in Premiere though because the link no longer works once AE is closed (the media goes offline) and I have to use the rendered clip. 

 

So as of right now, I can't and would really like to have the ability to use Dynamic Link as it's intended, and I can't open After Effects from the CC Launcher.  And again, this has all came about after the update to CC 2017.  Previously, everything was working great.

 

Any pointers would be great!  I've been trying to figure out how to wipe everything Adobe CC from my computer and do a fresh install to see if things will work again but haven't been able to successfully get everything cleaned off the computer. 

 

I have a suspicion that the AE has been installed into a location that the Launcher doesn't know how to find.  Is there a way to tell it where to launch from?

somebody help me? I don't know how to do, I need to work with pc.

when I save/load files or open any one adobe app, it will shut down with blue waring screen.

(sorry, it's a Chinese version screen)

Creative Cloud needs an update so i update it and when it finishes it closes and when i open it again it needs an update again there is no error message it just wont update

I get constantly error 207 while trying to update the creative cloud. It is very annoying and I´m hardly able to work with the old version. Is it possible to install everything new? I frequently try updating for a year now.

Cannot access my media encoder

I am using after effect CC, and I recently downloaded media encorder (test ver) to render my video. But everytime I press "add to media encoder" button warning signs pops up saying "media encoder is uninstalled". The same warning comes up when I drag my CC video in to media encoder. What is the problem?
